We are looking for a Data Engineering Specialist who will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure and complex data solutions. You will leverage your extensive knowledge and experience in data engineering to optimize data pipelines, ensure robust data storage and drive data integration across the organization. You also have the perspective to mentor a team of data engineers.

Your tasks:

• You design and implement scalable data solution
• Further you are responsivle for developing data models and data flows to support business requirements and analytics needs
• You ensure data platforms are optimized for performance, scalability and cost-effecency
• Moreover, you lead the design and implementation of scalable and efficient data pipelines
• You oversee the development ofETL processes to ensure reliable data ingestion, transformation and storage
• The implementation and management of data storage solutions and data warehousing solutions is also one of your tasks
• You integrate data from multiple sources, develop and manage workflows
• Last but not least, you implement robust data security measures and ensure compliance with data governance policies and conduct regular audits and reviews of data systems to identify security risks

Your profile:

• You have a bachelor's degree or master’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field
• Furthermore, you have minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering with at least focused on Azure data services and proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale solutions
• You are proficient in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database and Azure Data Lake Storage
• You also have expertise in data modelling, ETL processes and data warehousing concepts and knowledge of big data technologies and framworks, such as Apache Spark
• You have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills as well as effective and clear communication skills
• With your hands-on mentality, you have the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
