We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sustainability Expert to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to support our climate change mitigation initiatives and assist in Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) compliance. This position offers an exciting opportunity for early-career professional to contribute to our sustainability goals and gain hands-on experience in environmental impact assessment, data analysis, and sustainability reporting. 

 

Your tasks: 

 

  1. Climate Change Mitigation Support: 

  • Assist in the development and implementation of climate change mitigation strategies, including carbon footprint analysis and related reduction initiatives 

  • Support the collection, validation, and analysis of environmental data related to greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, energy use, waste management, and resource consumption

  • Conduct research on best practices and emerging trends in climate change mitigation, providing insights to improve our strategies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote and integrate sustainable practices into business operations

  1. CSRD Reporting: 

  • Describe procedures and workflows to document the CSRD processes

  • Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports in compliance with the CSRD requirements

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to gather relevant information for reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics

  • Support the preparation of narratives, charts, and other visual aids to effectively communicate sustainability performance to stakeholders

  1. Project Management: 

  • Track progress on sustainability projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall corporate sustainability goals

  • Assist in organizing workshops, training sessions, and awareness campaigns to promote sustainability initiatives within the organization

  • Contribute to the development of new tools, processes, and methodologies to enhance the effectiveness of sustainability initiatives

 

Your profile:

 

  • You are a properly enrolled student in the field of Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field
  • You work independently, conscientiously, focused and responsibly
  • Fluency in English are required
  • Good communication skills and flexibility round off your profile
